Antique Mahogany Bracket Mantel Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

Superb Antique Regency Design Mahogany Bracket Mantel Clock in a mahogany case with brass inlay striking the hours and half hours on a gong, marked J W Benson on the white dial. The case is topped with a fluted pagoda dome over a moulded pediment, brass handles and with brass finial , the front is inlaid with cut brass. The dial bears the makers name above the centre. To each side is a pierced arched sound panel with silk lining, and the whole stands on gilt brass bracket feet.The clock has been recently serviced and is going perfectly well.
