George II Walnut Bachelor Chest Circa 1740

18th century
Description

George II veneered walnut bachelor chest with turn over top and fitted with three short and three long oak lined drawers and raised on bracket feet. Later brass handles. All banded with holly and ebony lines. All in fine condition but chest has had a certain amount of restoration and has been re-polished, (Hence the price). Good deep honey colour with fine waxed patina.

Size;31" high, 31.5" wide, 15" deep.
