Large Oval Silver Plated Drinks Serving Tray.

1940 - 1960
Description

This large silver plated tray which is made by silversmith Barker Ellis dates from around the middle of the 20th century and is a nice quality tray.

This stylish oval tray has a nice design with a ribbed edging, a handle to each end, is a good weight and is marked with the maker's details of Barker Ellis and the retailer mark of Mappin & Webb to the underside.

A handsome tray that is an ideal size to go with a large cocktail set and will look great on display.

Marked: Mappin & Webb. Silver Plate on Copper. Barker Ellis. Made in England.

Dimensions: Length including handles: 62 cm (24 1/2"). Width: 37.5 cm (14 3/4"). Height to top of handles: 3 cm (1").

Weight: 2.254 kg.

Condition: Excellent used antique / vintage condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some light surface scratches. No wear to plate.

Please note that only the tray is included and any other items in the pictures are for scale only.
