Description

A striking and singular diamond and emerald ring. The old European cut diamond in the centre is stunningly white and bright, and is secured in a platinum milgrained rubover setting with eight (four each side) old cut diamonds set to the ‘north’ and ‘south’ of the centre stone. Yellow gold wings flank the central diamond, each set with three bright green emeralds. Geometric detailing in the gallery leads to a slender 18k yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30310056).

Cut – Old European cut in the centre with old cut and eight cut diamonds, and round cut emeralds in the surround.

Colour – The centre is F. The diamonds in the surround are F to G.

Clarity – The centre is SI2. The diamonds in the surround are SI1 to SI2.

Carat – The centre is approximately 0.91 carat, with a further 0.15 carat (approx.) of diamonds in the surround. The total approximate emerald weight is 0.16 carat.

Circa – 1950.

Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 12.2 x 10.5mm. Sits 5mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k yellow gold. The diamonds are set in platinum. Tested.
