William and Mary Style Walnut Sofa

Description

A diminutive William and Mary style walnut sofa of small proportions. The crushed gold velvet upholstery is in very good order and perfectly serviceable. From the scrolled cabriole legs and stretchers to the crisply carved gadrooned top rail this piece screams quality. Very comfortable and probably more suited to someone who prefers a shorter seat (easy to get in and out of). The double bergere canework is original and only had a couple of small breaks that we have restored and would have to be pointed out. One of the most attractive we have had for quite some time.
