Edwardian Antique Armchair with Upholstered Cushion

An attractive Edwardian antique armchair. The antique armchair has a decorative reed backrest with shaped open arms and a floral loose cushioned seat (recently professionally reupholstered). The antique armchair is raised on cabriole and square shaped legs. A particularly pleasing example, with beautiful colour and grain throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In excellent antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the wooden frame, but very minimal (pictured). The reed backrest also has minor losses to the weaving (pictured). The antique armchair remains structurally solid and sound, with good tight joints. Overall, a brilliant example of an Edwardian antique armchair.
