Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
It has a beautiful shape and is a useful and impressive size.
There are high quality gilt bronze mounts, handles & escutcheons, plus gorgeous inlaid geometric king wood veneers throughout. The original marble top is beautifully coloured and is made from a mosaic of smaller marble pieces.
We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent throughout.
