Art Deco World has dated this piece to the 1930s.
Made by clockmakers Temco, an amazing company with a British heritage that was in business from 1931 until 1952. On the rear is a bakelite combined handset and starting knob.

Lovely condition. Synchronous motor with black cable and three pin UK plug. This is a heavy and substantial clock.

Production of Temco synchronous clocks appears to have started in about 1931 and ended some time after 1952. TMC had several factories, in Britain and abroad. In 1937 Temco clocks were being manufactured at their main factory in Dulwich, London, UK.
