Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It is of amazing quality, it sits on fluted baluster legs on original white porcelain casters. The drawers have nicely turned mahogany handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. The tooled inset leather top is also of great quality and contrasts nicely with the mahogany. The back is nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
