A small but beautiful late 19thc French ormolu photo frame c1880. The round frame is finely cast with a twisted thread design and is surmounted by an elaborate ribbon top. The glass is concave to enlarge the photo image inside. There is an easel back and a ring for wall hanging. The leathered back is kept in place by four restraining clips. In excellent condition, no faults.
