Vintage Swivel Office Tub Chair.

A fantastic and unusual swivel chair ideal for the home office.

This is an impressive Vintage 1920-1930 chair which we have fully restored and freshly re-upholstered.

The chair features a swivel base (Hillcrest chair action) which can be adjusted higher or lower via turning a round collar. Unlike some other chairs, whilst swivelling the chair, the seat height stays the same until the collar is turned. The chair can also recline on an adjustable spring assisted action for comfort. The base stands on solid Oak legs and moves easily on its original shepherds castors.

We have reupholstered this chair in a faux worn leather effect Tan colour material, which is soft to the touch and hard wearing. The chair is finished with studded edges and all of the padding has been replaced to ensure the upmost comfort and longevity.

The chair has already stood the test of time but with this refurbishment is now ready for a new home and many more years of office comfort.

We have just cleaned the metal and carefully waxed the wood to preserve and protect the chair whilst keeping the patina and giving it a natural sheen.

This item is in a lovely condition for its age as shown in the photographs below however being a vintage item of this age there are obviously many marks, scratches and dents which we feel adds charm and character to the piece.

This table would look fabulous in any vintage themed room or home office and would be an interesting talking point for guests.
