Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1900s.

The interior is spectacular with washed in gold. The silver is of course hallmarked for Birmingham 1901, the Victorian era overlapping the early Edwardian era. The makers initials are also present, H M for the renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.
Superb condition measuring 3 1/4" tall with a lid diameter of 3 1/4" and weighing in at 147.7 grams or 4.75 troy ounces.
