Rare Edwardian Silver Triple Stamp Box by William Harrison Walter, Birmingham 1906

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a rather rare and exquisite Edwardian silver triple stamp box. The semi circular body raised on four ball feet. The glazed lid encasing three original stamps. The fully sprung cover is lined internally with the original red leather and reveals a rich gilt interior.

Hallmarks:

W.H.W for William Harrison Walter.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "g" for 1906.

Dimensions:

8cm x 3.5cm x 2cm

Condition:

Very good.

Strong hinge and good spring mechanism.

No repairs.

No dents.
