Edwardian Silver Double Stamp Box by S. Blanckensee & Sons, Birmingham 1922

1900 - 1920
Description

This elegant double stamp box has a lovely semi-circular form. The glazed lid encasing two original stamps. The fully sprung cover is lined internally with the original red leather. It is raised on four ball feet and has a gilt interior.

Hallmarks:

S.B & S. Ltd for S Blanckensee & Sons.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "c" for 1902.

Dimensions:

2cm x 3.5cm x 5.5

Condition:

Very good.

Strong hinge and good spring mechanism.

No repairs.

No dents.
