This piece is by Hobbs & Co of London who were reknowed for these type of pieces

The piece is inscribed Hobbs & Co on the locks please see close up photo

Roll top desk section opens out to reveal writing surface which has cormandel wood around it

Such a great piece of cabinet making with lots of storage

Top section comes apart from bottom
