A Collection of Early 19th Century Close Plated Meat Skewers

Description

A good collection of close plated meat skewers. The large pair are crested with a phoenix and are made by Harwood. The smaller three are made by Prime. They all date to the early part of the 19th Century.

The condition is good overall with little plate wear. The larger pair have slight wear to the tips as to be expected due to age and use. The smaller trio are in good condition.

Long skewer approx 35.5cm. Medium skewer approx 30.5cm.

Small skewers measure approx 15cm, 12.5cm and 10cm.
