Description

An exceptional antique mahogany sofa table in the Regency style. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1920’s.

This is of the utmost quality, the original cabinet makers label is seen inside the drawer. It has an elegant yet sturdy design, with a stretchered X frame base. There are gorgeous flame mahogany grain patterns, all the edges are beautifully cross banded with satin wood. The drawers have high quality brass ring pull handles and fine hand cut dovetailed joints. The back is also nicely finished, this is designed to be used as a free standing item or could be used against a wall.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in lovely condition for its age and retains a wonderful patina.
