The sides have a minor split but doesn't effect the structure of the piece. There is also a very small loss to the veneer close to the bottom drawer. We would have had this done prior to sale but timing wasn't on our side but this will be sorted before delivery for you in the quoted price of the piece. All drawers run smoothly and retain what look to be the original handles. For me the selling point is the top. The figuring to the mahogany and the boarder. A really wonderful piece.
