Rare Enormous Silver Plated Salver / Tray C.1900 - Lister Family Crest

In all the years I have been in this business, I have never seen a salver / tray of this size, it''s the most impressive centrepiece by the creme de la creme of silversmith''s, ''Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co.'' of London.
 
Dating to the beginning of the twentieth century, the tray stands on four scroll legs and the centre is engraved with a very regal heraldic crest, I believe for the Lister family. Below the crest is the motto ''Retinens vestigia famae'' meaning: ''Still treading the footsteps of an honourable ancestry''.
 
The underside is signed by the famous silversmith at 112 Regent Street, London; also marked with a trade mark, Regent Plate.
 
A rare and impressive piece in excellent condition spanning 22 1/2'' x 2 1/2''.
