Victorian Antique Ladies Writing Desk

An attractive Victorian antique ladies writing desk. The mahogany writing desk has a rectangular shaped top with a leather inset above three drawers. The mahogany writing desk has two pedestals with an arrangement of four drawers on each, all with wooden knobs. Raised on eight castors. The mahogany writing desk is separated into three sections for ease of transport and movement. A good quality desk with lovely colour throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the top, front and sides (pictured), also nice patina to the leather inset (pictured). There are losses to the beading at the back corner (pictured), also small patch repairs to the veneer in places (pictured). The antique writing desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a next example.
