The stone is rubover set in 18k yellow gold with a neat, pierced gallery, leading to a slim 18k yellow gold shank. It’s very unusual to see an emerald set without diamonds around it, but given the quality of this stone it’s understandable.

Accompanied by an emerald report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the emerald shows evidence of minor clarity enhancement, and is Colombian in origin.
Cut – Square cushion cut.
Clarity – Clean to the naked eye.

Carat – 0.54 carat.
Circa – 1930.
Measurements – The emerald is 5.1 x 5.1mm. Sits 4.5mm from the finger.
Size – N 1/2 (UK) or 6.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
