Description

An excellent antique mahogany desk in the classic Chippendale style. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1920 period.

It has a fantastic design and is of amazing quality. The top has gadrooned edges, there are panelled sides and grooves running down the front edges. This sits on carved claw and ball feet, the back is also nicely polished so it can be used as a free standing item. There is an inset tooled black leather writing surface, and high quality original brass handles.

We have recently had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor wear here and there beneath the polish, this has a beautiful overall patina. The top lifts off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.
