One of my favourite carpets, I love the background colour of pale gold with the exploded 'Herati' design- normally drawn much smaller and more busily, here it has been expanded to several times normal size and given a. majestic treatment. The beautifully curling light blue 'Fish' and the extra roundness to the flowers created from having more space to work with. Woven circa 1850 this is a very special carpet for its elegance and easy to live with colour combination. It will pass in a huge variety of interiors, bring style, grace and warmth. Just imagine how good it will look in your home- happy to do home trials!
