Inlaid Mahogany Sheraton Style Corner Cabinet C.1905

Description

Superb quality Edwardian inlaid mahogany corner display cabinet c.1905. Single piece cupboard with a two door display fitted with three shelves over a blind cupboard base with a single shelf. Exceptional Sheraton style marquetry inlays in various contrasting woods across the piece with floral garlands, lovely ebony veneered glazing bars (note the matching shelf fronts) and a fine pair of classical ewars on the lower doors. Topped with a broken pediment over a moulded cornice and raised on shaped bracket feet. Maker’s label for the high end Liverpool cabinet makers Allen & Appleyard. Excellent colour and condition, keys supplied.
