The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has an in-house 837 28-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed with the Helvetia name.
This watch is a little more unusual in that it winds anti clockwise.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is gold plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. It is all in very nice condition and it has the signed Helvetia winding crown.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, second sweep and inner minute markers. There is light freckling across the dial but not too detrimental at all.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in its Helvetia presentation box.
