An 18th Century Antique Walnut Chest on Stand

Description

An 18th Century antique walnut chest on stand. The upper section having an arrangement of three long and two short oak lined drawers with period brass handles, the brackets are not the original. The fronts veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut with herringbone banding and block moulding. The lower section having three oak lined drawers again with herringbone banding and burr walnut veneers. Raised on elegant cabriole supports with pad feet. English circa 1720-1740 The cabriole legs are later replacements, probably around C1920

Dimensions: 39" wide x 60" high x 21" deep
