Description

This elegant and decorative silver and glass teapot stand is dated Birmingham 1932 and beard the marks of the renowned silversmiths and retailers Mappin & Webb. The circular glass mounted with a solid silver lattice mount.

Hallmarks:

Mn&Wb for Mappin & Webb

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter "H" for 1932.

Lion Passant.

Dimensions:

Diameter: 12.5cm / 5 inches.

Condition:

Average.

Glass in very good condition.

Silver mount with no loss.

Slight distortion/bulging of lattice decorations at places, Which is quite usual for this type of stand.

Signes of wear/surface scratching to the lattice decorations.
