Circa 1870. A mid Victorian carved oak cabinet bookcase. The moulded cornice with excellent blind fretwork in the frieze with each section intersected by a carved lion mask head and foliate carving beneath. In the top there are three sections each with adjustable shelves, intersected by pilasters with blind fretwork , the breakfront base has similar fretwork and carved lion heads, four panel doors, each with carved lion heads, all resting on a solid oak enclosed plinth.
