Antique English Sterling Silver Ring Box (For Three) - 1903

Description

A stunning English sterling silver ring box, in a beautiful ovoid form with a riot of decorative repousse work with vacant cartouche to the front, back and in the center of the domed lid, any one of these could be engraved by your silversmith should you with to personalise for a gift.

The interior retains it's original Burgundy coloured velvet fitting created to hold three rings.

There is a full hallmark to the front of the base for Birmingham 1903, making this a true Edwardian example; there is also a matching partial hallmark to the lid. The makers mark is also present M & Co. for Maple & Co. Ltd.

Excellent condition, measuring 3 3/4" x 1 7/8" x 1 1/2" tall.
