Georgian Antique Oak Settle with Cushion

A charming Georgian antique oak settle with a loose cushioned seat. The antique oak settle has a five panelled back rest, with shaped open arms. The antique oak settle has a solid two board seat, with a loose multicoloured tapestry style cushion, which has recently been professionally reupholstered. Raised on two cabriole front legs and two square stile legs to the rear. A particularly pleasing example of an antique oak settle, with beautiful grain and colour throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and fading to the backrest, arms and front (pictured). There are also signs of shrinkage (pictured), and minor chips to the top of the back (pictured). The antique oak settle remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a great example of its kind.
