They are pedestals from a Victorian dressing table, which have been adapted into bedside chests. Each mahogany bedside table features elegant moulded rectangular tops; this design is also reflected in the plinths. The mahogany bedside tables boast four graduated drawers, constructed with fine hand dovetail joints and mahogany drawer linings. The drawer fronts are decorated with a moulded frame and retain the origin cast brass drop handles. The mahogany bedside tables stand on their top-quality rectangular mahogany plinths. The chests are constructed of top-quality mahogany timber imported from the colonies during the Victorian period. The quality is reflected in the weight of these bedsides; they are heavy to lift!
