Rare Art Deco Engine Turned Cocktail Shaker

Description

It's not often we come across these cocktail shakers with all over engine turned decoration. Made from silver plate (marked EPNS on the underside - Electro-Plated Nickel Silver), the textured body and panel running around the lid, creates a natural grip ; tactile and handsome.

The the top section, once removed, reveals an integral ice breaker in the inside, always highly sought-after.

The underside is fully signed by the makers - Roberts and Dore of Sheffield and London.

Just back from our silversmith's workshop, it has been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it's former glory.

Excellent condition dating to the Art Deco era, c.1930. 3 1/2" in diameter x 8" tall.
