Description

This is quite a substantial early Georgian antique silver strainer that could be used for lemons ,oranges or other fruit when added to a punch. It was made by William Justis and hallmarked in London 1737.
The strainer is in very good condition with no repair or damage and has been made with a good gauge of silver. It has two ornate handles, plain but consistent piercing to the bowl and the hallmarks are to the centre.
A fine example of a Georgian silver fruit strainer.
