Georgian Elm Corner 'barber's' Chair. Circa 1775

Rare George III elm corner barbers type elbow chair with central extra back. Fine pierced back splats and raised on square chamfered legs united with plain stretchers. Lovely shaped arms. All in superb un-touched original condition if a little wormy (old and very dead) in places. Wonderful rich deep colour with stunning waxed patina. It glows. This pattern of corner chair is not often seen.
Size; 42" high, 24" wide, 24" deep. Seat height 17"
