Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The antique oak coffer has a panelled hinged lid that opens to reveal a large interior. Raised on decorative stile feet. A particularly pleasing example, with beautiful colour and grain throughout.

Item Ref; M-4167
DIMENSIONS:
Height – 72cm / Width – 164cm / Depth – 58cm
CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, stains and minor patch repairs to the lid surface (pictured), also minor dents to the front of the coffer (pictured). There is evidence of historical woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. There are also a few honest repairs to the feet (pictured), also a split to the right hand side (pictured). The antique oak coffer remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a great example of its kind.
