The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The watch has a 30-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely. The rotor is signed Rado World Travel.
The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel. The front of the case is in good condition.
There is also reference to a couple of 1950s patents which relate 1950s applications for watch case design.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and date display. This is an early form of quickset date where the hands are moved repeatedly backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 8.50pm until the desired date is reached.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
