A Small 18th Century Enclosed Cabinet on Chest.

Description

An unusual estate made 18th century enclosed cabinet on chest of small proportions, constructed from walnut , fruitwood and elm. The cabinet on chest comes apart into two sections, with the top being decorated with arcaded geometric panels and applied mouldings. The doors open to reveal a fitted interior consisting of large and small drawers along with a few secret compartments. Below the cabinet are two long drawers, the top one having a lockable drawer and key.

The cabinet top does have a working lock but no key is present.

This piece has a lovely colour and is in excellent condition.
