Antique Silver Omega Full Hunter Pocket Watch, Ornate Case

Description

Antique silver Omega full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a signed Omega stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement carries the serial number 3,971,381 which dates it back to 1911. The movement is protected by an inner cover which has some unevenness.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 935 silver, so slightly purer than sterling silver, and it is beautifully decorated on both the front and back. There is some unevenness to the outer covers but not too detrimental at all.

Both outer covers have the Omega logo to the inside, and the inside of the front cover has a previous owner’s name.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition, as is the dial.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
