19th Century Double Fusee Repeating Skeleton Clock Circa 1860

Description

A rare superb quality skeleton clock, surmounted by a bell over a twin fusee eight day movement striking the full hours on a bell.

The dial inscribed JAS WEST BOLTON. The whole clock is in superb condition with a heavy gauge frame, and visible springs, The clock stands on a stepped marble base with the original heavy gauge glass dome .This unique piece has a repeat pull mechanism. Despite searching the Internet I can see no other with this repeat feature .
