Antique Mahogany Wellington Chest

A stunning Victorian antique mahogany wellington chest. The antique wellington chest has seven fitted drawers, each with two wooden knobs. There is a hinged panel to the right hand side of the drawers, this is usually used to lock all the drawers in when closed, but unfortunately this specific piece doesn’t come with a working key. The antique wellington chest of drawers is raised on a plinth base. A rather pleasing example.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and dents to the drawer fronts, surface top and sides (pictured). There are also dents and scratches to the base, but these flaws don’t affect the overall integrity of the product. The antique wellington chest remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a neat example of its kind.
