Handsome Super King Size All Brass Bed

1900 - 1920

Description

Handsome super king size all brass bed. Lovely quality with spindles, knees, gallery decoration. Very nice knobs and collars .Original porcelain castors, castors are removable. Naturally aged lacquered brass gives a lovely patina.Lovingly restored.Side rails have been adapted to support wood slats and central support added for modern size and weight mattress 180cm x 200cm.

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

As an alternative to wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support or to raise get into bed height either 2" deep with a platform top ( as used for photograph. We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices as a whole or as two mattresses zipped with different tensions. Please see Base ab mattress section four web site or ask for details.
