The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch was manufactured using a Cyma pocket watch movement.

This is not a converted pocket watch, this is a period piece which was manufactured either in the late 1940s or early 1950s.
The Swiss Cyma hand-winding movement is working nicely.
The watch measures 44mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is chrome plated while the case back is stainless steel. There is a short scratch to the top left lug and general light marking but nothing too detrimental. Some scratching to the back where it has been removed in the past.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial has a painted finish from when it was converted, there is some marking and discolouration but it has a charming appearance.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
