~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
A stunning original antique French clock by the famous maker Japy Frères. It is Louis XVI in style, mounted with exquisite Sèvres style porcelain. This has a cream ground delicately painted a scene of a young couple. The urn finial also has a beautifully painted country scene.
It is complete with its original finely cut brass hands. The bezel is fitted with convex glass.

The French movement is of high quality and is by Japy Frères. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is original. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a sonorous coiled gong. We have a video of the clock running, please ask and we will send you a link.

Condition of the case is excellent, the original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration. Porcelain is in very good condition with rubbing to the over-glaze gilt decoration, particularly to the dial.
