Antique English Sterling Silver Jewelry Box by William Comyn's - Lillies

Description

A stunning little jewellery box standing on the most elegant four cabriole legs. Made from sterling silver, the box is hallmarked for London 1905, making this a true Edwardian example. The makers initials are also present on both base and lid, WC for the well renowned quality silversmith, William Comyns.

The top is adorned with a floral repousse decoration featuring a spray of Lillies, quite wonderful. The interior of the lid is beautifully gilded.

The interior is lined in blue velvet, perfect to keep those precious treasures. Excellent condition, measuring 3" x 2" x 1 5/8" tall.
