Antique Large Victorian Aesthetic Burr Walnut & Ebony Breakfront Bookcase C1890

Superb Large Victorian Aesthetic Walnut and Ebony Breakfront Bookcase and dating from around 1890. Constructed from quality Bur Walnut it has a moulded walnut and ebony cornice with walnut frieze with decorative ebony spanderalls. This is above a central glazed door set within an ebony frame and burr walnut panel with ebony cross banded edge . This is flanked on either side by a further door with removable fabric behind the glazed panel held on original brass rails. Internally there are five fully adjustable shelves to he centre and four adjustable shelves to each side. It is raised on a moulded ebonised plinth base and separates for ease of transporting.
