Raised on four carved and shaped legs. A very fine wood and papier mâché Victorian armchair with delicate details throughout. Maker’s mark to the back.

Height – 94cm / Seat Height - 45cm Width – 59.5cm / Depth – 62cm
CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related cracking to the paint throughout the chair (pictured), also chips, marks and stains to the front legs (pictured). There is minor evidence of historical woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique side chair remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a fantastic example of a Victorian papier-mâché chair.
