The front has a circular cartouche, which is vacant and could be engraved with initials if desired.

The Vesta's sprung hinge is in excellent working order and of course has the strike to the outside.

Fully hallmarked in numerous places for Birmingham 1901 together with the makers initials D & F into two conjoined circles for the highly regarded silversmith, Deakin & Francis.
Excellent condition and measuring 3 1/4" long (including ring) x 1 1/4" wide.
