This is a good looking walnut desk, impressive tidy condition with good colour and finish. Dating from around 1900 it has a swan neck style handle on each drawer which appear original and a pleasing reeding down the outside face of each pedestal. The back is polished so it does not need to go against a wall and the leather top which is in excellent condition has the tooled detailing aroound the edges. It is a really good size for home working maybe, not to small or too large but really useable. This walnut pedestal desk is a box top, so comes to three pieces to transport so easy to put into a house or apartment and go upstairs if need be.
