Description

A late 19th century intricately carved wooden seal. Possibly Black Forest.

The carving is deep and extremely well done. There are two small areas of loss, but hardly noticeable see pictures 2 & 3.

The seal on the end is brass and carved with two gothic initials.

Lovely colour and patination.
