Description

An 18th Century Delft Charger.

The charger with a slightly scalloped rim, decorated with panels of wild flowers, between hanging scrolls, and a lattice ground. The body of the charger likewise decorated, and centred by an exuberant flower head in full bloom. The rear with a foot rim, and makers mark for Jan Pennis.

Date circa 1780.

Height 1 3/4 inches, 4.5cm.
